ITINERARY DETAIL:
Day 01: Tropaeng Kreal – Preah Vihear ( L/D)
Picked up at border by Cambodia tour guide and transfer to check in hotel.
Lunch at local restaurant
Afternoon visit Prasat Preah Vihear: Preah Vihear is known as the Temple Mountain which was built at the beginning of the 10th century as a Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva. The temple had further works added to it by the following three kings. The temple was declared a Word Heritage UNESCO site in 2008.
Dinner at the hotel and overnight at Preah Vihear.Day 02: Preah Vihear – Koh Ker – Beng Mealea – Siem Reap (B/ L/D)
After breakfast, we head into the bush to the remote Angkor capital of Koh Ker. In the 10th century Jayavarman IV (928-942) fell out with his family, stormed off to the northwest and established the rival capital of Koh Ker.
Lunch at local restaurant.
Continue visit the lost temple of Beng Mealea, the titanic of temples, a slumbering giant lost for centuries in the forests of Cambodia. It is the most accessible of Angkor’s lost temples, a mirror image of Angkor Wat, but utterly consumed by the voracious appetite of nature.
Evening drive to Siem Reap.
Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at Siem Reap.Day 03: Siem Reap Signseeing ( B/L/D)
After breakfast, we have a free morning at leisure.
Afternoon visit Artisans Center in Puok, the real and original place of the Artisans d’Angkor silk, where you will see the full process of silk producing, from the silk worms munch on the Mulberry leaves to spin their cocoons which used to make silk warp.
Lunch at local restaurant.
Visiting Meychrey village by boat.
Enjoy your dinner at Apsara Theatre. Overnight in Siem Reap.Day 04: Angkor Wat Tours (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel.
Explore South Gate of Angkor Thom known as Big Angkor, 3km2 walled and moated royal city and was the last capital of the Angkorian Empire, including The famous Bayon Temple , Terrace of the Elephants , Baphuon, Royal Palace Area and Phimeanakas , Terrace of the Leper King.
Lunch at local restaurant.
Afternoon visit Angkor Wat temple, the founder of the temple was Suryavarman II who reigned Cambodia from 1113 to 1152 and built the five towers in the 12th century to dedicate to the Hindu God Vishnu. Next, visit Pub Street, the culinary and nightlife hub of Siem Reap.
Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at Siem Reap.Day 05: Siem Reap – Kbal Spean – Banteay Srey (B/L/D)
After breakfast, we visit Kbal Spean temple – there are also carving of Buddha and Buddhist images in the rock that date from a later period than the lingas. The original River of Thousand Lingams, Kbal Spean is an intricately carved riverbed deep in the foothills of the Cambodian jungle. Next is Banteay Srei, loosely translates to “citadel of the women, but this is a modern appellation that probably refers to the delicate beauty of the carvings. On the way we will visit people doing palm sugar before continue to visit Banteay Srey Butterfly Center: The Banteay Srei Butterfly Centre (BBC), a new tourist attraction for Siem Reap Province featuring a live display of Cambodian butterflies. Revenue generated by tourist admissions provides support for local poverty alleviation and conservation projects. Head to Bakong for sunset view.
Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at Siem Reap.Day 06: Siem Reap Tours (B/L/D)
After breakfast at hotel, visit to Ta Prohm, one of the area’s most beautiful temples. Ta Prohm has been relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery. Neak Pean, a fountain built in the middle of a pool (representing the paradisiacal Himalayan mountain-lake), Ta Som, built in late 12th century C.E. the most distant temple on the grand circuit, small but classic. Continue to visit Preah Khan temple,.

Visit to the unique interior brick sculptures of Prasat Kravan, Srah Srang (“The Royal Baths” was once used for ritual bathing), Banteay Kdei (surrounded by 4 concentric walls),Ta Keo, constructed in late 10th early 11th century C.E, the first temple to be constructed wholly of sandstone. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at Siem Reap.Day 07: Siem Reap Tours (B)
